Yesterday these pictures were released. I bet I'll be seeing these everywhere within a few months. This confirms the malaise era (~2002-2012) of PSA (Peugeot/Citroën) is finally over.

I'm not totally convinced these are photo-shopped Volvos.

That would be a cool place to hid the trunk popper.

The malaise is over if Citroën has a new, hydropneumatically sprung, crazy flagship. It still hasn't, which means the malaise continues.

That's the C6, but I honestly have no idea if they still build it.

Nope, they don't
The current 'flagship' is the DS5, which isn't available with hydropneumatics. A crying shame.

I've been seing a few ads this past week for the car. I think it looks great, and finally the lion is back on the grill

The high end C5 still has it I think. But it's higly unlikely Citroën will ever put the hydropneumatic suspension in a new car, not with their new market placement (low cost, Peugeot being the premium brand, à la VW, and DS the Audi rival).
Maybe in a future DS.

You can still get the C5 with the proper suspension, but I get your point.

It could be sooner than you think, as long as the US signs that treaty with the EU that I forgot the details off but which would result in EU approved cars being automatically approved in the US as well.
Or you could buy my 26 year old 205 GTi ;)

That is indeed a rather attractive car, though I still think I prefer the old 406—at least, in saloon and coupé form. The estate's backside just doesn't fit with the overall design of the car nearly as well as the new 508's rear.
I still wish they'd do away with the '08' thing and just reset to a new 501. (Or a 401.)

I need a Peugeot wagon (grew up in a 505 turbo wagon), is the treaty recent news? I would like to buy your 205 gti but I'm a broke e38 owner.

I could recommend a 406 wagon. I daily drive a 406 coupe, and it's great. And reliable. Unlike 205 GTIs the 406 is cheap and plentiful.
